Cross-Sliding Wagon
Timme Stapelautomanten GmbH`s vehicles consist of sturdy welded frames with built-in flange
wheels that travel on rails recessed in the floor or screwed onto the floor. These vehicles
are equipped with spur-wheel back-geared motors suitable to frequency-regulated or manual
operation for soft starting, stopping and positioning. The drive motors of the wagons and
mounted periphery are supplied with electricity through a electrical line that can be reeled
in and out with a motor-driven motor line reel or conducted through energy chains depending
upon the route length. The wagons may be designed for manual or completely automatic
operation. The vehicle is equipped with safety sensors for completely automatic operation
that immediately brake or stop if there is an obstacle in the travelling area.
